Who can renew?

If you already hold a valid Golden Visa, you are eligible to renew it provided that you:

Maintain the qualifying investment, such as:

  • €500,000 or more in Spanish real estate.
  • €1 million in Spanish investment funds, company shares, or bank deposits.
  • €2 million in Spanish public debt.
  • A qualifying business project with significant socio-economic or innovative impact.

You must have maintained uninterrupted private health insurance with full coverage in Spain — with no co-payments or waiting periods — for the entire duration of your residency, regardless of changes in insurance provider.

Comply with the minimal stay requirement, having entered Spain at least once during the visa’s validity period.
